Hello, as promised i will be talking about american football =D YAY!
Well, to recap, yesterday i said that american football was the second best sport in the world. Second of course to BASKETBALL because we all know i love that. But american football is almost as good. Like theres tonnes of strategy involved along with the normal brute force and athleticism that comes with other codes of football (not saying that there IS NO strategy involved in other codes). But then again, all sports are or should be a mix between strategy and athleticism. So i guess it means that i like sports with more strategy. See, with bball, you have to be strategic to win most of the times. However, you cant win with only strategy and no force. Thats like ruse, all brains and thinking, not much action and power.=D And also, sometimes you can win on force alone. But even after saying this, to be effective, i.e. win most of the time, YOU have to have strategy.
AND, we have gone pretty off topic. xD
So back onto AMERICAN FOOTBALL! In american football, since its a free movement and the ball can pretty much go where-ever with its passing rules, there is no way that one man can win it for his team. This is unlike many other sports where the one man teams are often greatly feared. One man teams are just gay. It was like Lebron and Cleveland Cavs last year, the one man team was predicted to win but lost to the Orlando Magic, which have multiple good players. Get the point?
Off topic again so, thats why American football is so cool ;)
HAHA and i forgot to mention yesterday, at my dad's fave pho restaurant, there was like this group of asians just infront of us at the line. They were like so loud, and did the lamest shit. Okay, first of all they were prob like those chink people who come over to study in uni. So they were about 20. And farout, so immature. Like this short guy looked in some little book thing and asked this ugly guy "hey is this your girlfriend" followed by this dorkish giggle. And then the ugly guy responds by going "NO!" and proceeds to slap fight the short guy. And the short guy responds and the slap fight for like 5 seconds. Meanwhile me and my sister were like =O and o_O mixed together. You know like open mouth and o_O eyes.
And so this randomness continues until another noteworthy thing happened. Okay so, they were still in line in front of us. And STILL looking through that little book thing. And they come to some message. And i think it was from a guy and at the end of it, it said BFFL. And some fat girl says to the ugly guy, BOY FRIEND?(WHO IS IT?). BTW the brackets were said in cantonese. Lucky i speak canto aye? or this post wouldnt be as good xD. And like their whole group starts cracking up. But then the short guy was like (Hey what does FL stand for?) and then the whole group discusses, trying to determine what fl stands for.
IT WAS SO BLOODY AGONISING. i wanted to just shove into the middle and scream fl stands for FOR LIFE DAMN IT =='. but i didnt so when they finally figured it out, they just pissed themselves laughing for a few minutes. PRETTY LOUD TOO. and it wasnt that funny. but the ugly guy prob wasnt gay which made it funny for them. BUT STILL THAT ISNT THAT funny. And its esp. not that funny when BFFL probably meant BEST Friend For Life and not Boy Friend For Life, because who the eff has a boy friend for life? I mean, wouldnt that just be your husband? OMFG =='
Oh and btw, the group was like 10+ people, not just the 3 or 4 i mentioned in my recount of dumb things that they did.
And also, i seriously hope my friends and i are not like that when we are out =\
Lastly, before the quote, in this long blog (by my standards), WHO IS ANONYMOUS. If you comment i urge you to use your name. I really dont care if you slam me (or my sister) because its just constructive criticism (hopefully). And itll help me improve my blog writing and hence the enjoyment you get from reading. OFF TOPIC>
