YAYAYAY! my mum is going to go buy the new matthew reilly book tomorrow. I know that my sister has already posted on this topic a while ago but seriously i cant wait for the book, so it totally sucks that im only allowed to read it after school cert =(. HOW LAME. oh wells. still cant wait. OH AND IT MIGHT BE SIGNED, depending on how many people are in line and if my mum can be effed to wait. LOL
SOOOOO HAPPY XD
anyways, on another note... never ever watch flashforward at night... Here's why. For those of you who dont watch, at the end of every episode, the is a crazy cliffhanger in the form of a clue for their investigation of the global blackout event (those of you that watch will know what im talking about =O). And like these clues make you think like crazy about what will happen next and what else they might find out. Like a few nights back. I was watching Flashforward just before i was going to sleep. And at the very end, THERES THIS MINDBLOWING EVENT and then they just end the episode. So for a minute or so, im just watching it over trying to take it in and figure out what it will mean for the characters in the next episode and the general future. AND THERES SO MANY POSSIBILITIES DAMNIT. they are just running through your mind like crazy..
The result of this, is me lying in bed rolling around trying to sleep. BUT I CANT !! because im still effing thinking about what might happen. OMFG LAME, so i was very tired the next day (sunday i think). but yeh so lame. Oh and just typing this blog up is making think about the possibilities. STUPID FLASHFORWARD.
Oh and also, the clues make it that much more addictive, so i cant stop myself even if i wanted to =(
And finally, stupid consumerism, why do we have to be so materialistic. Our folly led to me slaving into the night, writing a fricking impossible essay on the superficiality of modern day society because of consumer culture. STUPID !
A little bit of wisdom:
Imagine every day to be the last of a life surrounded with hopes, care, anger and fear. The hours that come unexpectedly will be much the more grateful. - Horace
